Licensed, Bonded, Insured: With Numbers
“Licensed and insured” is a slogan until there’s a number you can look up. Every credential below is verifiable before you sign, and we hand over the documentation at the kitchen table, not after the deposit.
- Marion County general contractor licensing. Issued by the Indianapolis Department of Business & Neighborhood Services. The license number is on every quote, and you can verify it yourself at indy.gov.
- Surety bond on file. Required by Indianapolis Code §875-109 for licensed contractors: protection that exists whether or not you ever need it.
- General liability insurance. Certificate of insurance provided with every quote, naming you as certificate holder on request.
- Workers' compensation on every crew member. Nobody on your property is your liability. Certificates available before work begins.
- Manufacturer-spec installation. Every roof goes on to the shingle maker's published spec: nailing pattern, starter courses, and ventilation. That's what keeps your material warranty valid.
