What to Check, and What to Watch Out For

Tornado damage requires structural assessment beyond standard roof inspection. If your home was in the damage path, make sure framing was checked.

Years after tornado events, some homes experience delayed failures as compromised trusses or rafters finally give way. Periodic re-inspection is wise.

If you received FEMA assistance or insurance payout from this tornado but repairs were incomplete, you may still have contractor warranty or policy coverage for ongoing issues.
