What the NWS Data Shows
Multiple rounds of severe weather from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM produced hail from 1.0 to 1.5 inches and wind gusts to 70 mph across most of the metro.
Some areas were hit by multiple storms, compounding damage. Carmel and Fishers experienced two separate hail-producing storms.
Total insured losses exceeded $200 million across central Indiana, making this one of the costliest severe weather events of 2022.

What to Check, and What to Watch Out For
